Thanks, Natalie. This was a good year for crabapples. Soon, it will be a good year for chubby squirrels.

Crabapples get a bum rap. I have never met a crabby crabapple.

As for chubby squirrels, BOY, they can be Crabby Appletons!

(Hints: Rock band. A big hit. Go back. Squirrels avoid _ ___ ___ by trying to __ ____? Not always wise!)

On the sane side, great photos. Loved the roses post too.

Thanks, Wyman. I seem to find crabapple trees extremely photogenic. I photograph the one in our front yard all the time. These trees were a larger variety that I found at a riverside park. Usually by this time of year, our tree is stripped of fruit and the branches can barely support the squirrels.

A splash of color to start my day! Love the Japanese Lanterns and the water droplets on that close-up of the rose!
