egg cartons?
Looks to me like bent birthday candles.

I was thinking egg cartons or Styrofoam meat trays
It's an army of soap sliver people, waiting in line for a washcloth.
Styrofoam meat trays ready for recycling was my first guess. But on closer inspection, given the notches and the ridges below them, I have to agree with Lori: Styrofoam egg cartons ready for recycling. Nice try at fooling us with the vertical presentation, but Styrofoam is just too Styrofoamy to mistake.
