Spring Ice

Spring in Michigan means lots of freeze-thaw cycles and interesting ice formations over the river.

They do look like fingers! I would love to live close to a river for frequent walks.

The Red Cedar River is relatively slow and wide near here. A rushing, splashing river would probably have different kinds of ice formations.
