Sunday

We visited a wild animal park in Texas, and I took a million photos. Here are a few faces I liked.

I remember my first time to Texas to visit my husband after we first met he took me on a camping trip in Austin the the summer. The deer were eating out of my hand. Your pictures are bringing back those memories and getting me ready to go there on Tuesday.

Have a safe trip, Natalie.

Is there a Black Market in oil? Why is everyone going to Texas? Stocking up for future price hikes?

By the way, had wondered what became of Joe Camel when he was down-sized by the cigarette tobacco company. Guess they wouldn't go the "extra-mile" to keep him on the payroll until he retired.

Great photos!

Great faces! A little over a week ago, I spent the night at the zoo with a few friends and we got a behind the scenes tour of the zoo. We fed a giraffe--that huge purple tongue snatched the leaf out of my hand and swirled it around his mouth. Such simple joy. Also spent lots of time at the new elephant exhibit. One of the elephants had lost a tusk in a tussle at the water fountain. He was a character.

Sorry to hear the elephant had tusk luck at the water fountain.

Could not resist temptation. Truly sorry for the elephant's lost tusk. Amazing what precious creatures they are. Be nice if all wild habitats and their creatures could be preserved for eternity in massive numbers.)

Wyman 1: Everyone seems to have relatives in TX.
Kim: I would love to have an opportunity like that. Our local zoo is quite small, but I should inquire.
Wyman 2: Keep the puns coming.
