Beauty and the Beast Another great photo! After you snapped it, did you crush the nasty bugger in your fingers? (Not recommended, they're awfully crunchy.) Did you knock it into a jar of soapy water? That's my usual approach to Japanese beetles, but now I'm thinking about the photo possibilities. They can be quite stunning in the right light. Maybe I'll see if I can match you. Beetle Throwdown! Mine mostly show up on my Rose of Sharon. -- Tim
