Nice title. Maybe you also know the Sixties hit (same title) by The Choir, a band from Ohio. Most of their members went on to become the better known band The Raspberrys?

For certain, your great photos capture the feel of the title. Brrr! It's even cold in FL! Come on, turn the heat on already! Spring can't come soon enough.

Wyman: I was thinking of the song that often included in jazzier Christmas albums. Here's a link to James Taylor and Natalie Cole singing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmiWm9CsLBU
Is that the same song? When I searched "Baby It's Cold Outside Choir" on YouTube, the hits were for high school choirs. :-)

You now have the link to my favorite YouTube version. You get a little history, a little music, and even a little "cold outside" photography.

Not the greatest song in the world, but a nice "Garage Band" song of the time. The days when a band of guys could take up instruments, toss someone out front to sing, then write and record a song that charted, was coming to an end. These guys proved it could still be done at the time.

I've never heard the James Taylor / Natalie Cold song. About to give it a listen. Thanks. Keep those cold hands warm! More photos, please. :-)

Thanks, Wyman. I'd never heard "It's Cold Outside." That's quite a bit of history. The other song, "Baby, It's Cold Outside," was written by Frank Loesser. Here's a link to the history - according to wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby,_It%27s_Cold_Outside

Sunday,Dec. 22: How about this ice for pictures? It's especially nerve-wracking because there is no thaw in sight, meaning the the ice will stay until it gets too windy -- which will mean a good deal more damage.
