Sunday

Yesterday, a flock of wild turkeys crossed the road in front of the car, but by the time I got my camera out, they’d mostly moved on. So, here’s more ice – because it doesn’t run away.

Well, your ice pix have gotten me back out icepixing. There's a lovely little waterfall near my house. Yes, of course it's man-made. It's in the Tollgate Wetland Drainage project, quite a fascinating place in its own right.
The waterfall gets all kinds of cool ice structures. I'm going to make it a point to stop by now and again and take pictures under different light and temperature conditions. Thanks for the inspiration.

Those icicles almost look like slender birds hanging from their beaks.
