Last winter, I ordered two dozen caladium tubers to start inside. They sent forty three, so I now have caladium all over the yard. The sun hit the leaves this morning.
Whew! Scared me. Misread caladium as Cadmium and tubers as tumors. Just kidding. Glad to see you're back. What a difference a few letters can make! Your photos radiate. :-) As always, thank you for posting such variety.
Thanks, Buffy. Caladium are tropical plants. Some people dig up the tubers and overwinter them inside. So far, I've bought new ones every year, but if I dug them up, I could keep track of the short and tall varieties so fewer caladium would be hidden under the ferns.

Thank you, Wyman. Typos and misreads are often good for a laugh.
Beautiful--especially love the veins on the middle photo. Do these guys overwinter?
