Pollen Festival

We get so few honeybees these days, if one stops by the yard, I go full paparazzi. 
A bee fly enjoyed the peonies too.
The wasp preferred the strawberries.

Yes, that first shot is especially amazing! I've never heard of a bee fly?

Kristin: Bee flies look like bees, but they are much easier to photograph as they are less busy.
