Fall Leaves

I took these a couple weeks ago, then forgot I needed to resize and post them. In Michigan, the leaves are all gone, so this is what it used to look like by the Red Cedar River.

I especially love the photos of the reflections. Isn't it amazing how much things change in a matter of a week or two? Thank you for the reminder of how beautiful our fall was--when the trees still held their color (and their leaves!). Now, it's on to the leaf raking.

Next year, I vow to cut off the iris leaves before the beds are smothered in leaves.

Gorgeous - my favorite season. The morning and afternoon sunlight has been stunning - the leaves radiant!

The picture that's all reflection has an impressionist vibe going.

Thanks everyone. I went on a walk today. We're in that non-photogenic season between leaves and ice when the world is mostly brown/gray sticks.
