Most Fascinating Blog Award

I'm delighted to announce that Words and Pixels was nominated for the Most Fascinating Blog of 2012. Apparently, a post I wrote about my friend and former colleague Fang Shi Min caught their attention.

Voting starts next week. I hope you'll consider voting for Words and Pixels. (I'll post a reminder and a link when the polls open.)

Congratulations on the nomination!

However, I am even more grateful to you for putting a HUMAN FACE on why companies like GOOGLE, Facebook, and others should not bow to the wishes of China for censorship in order to do business there. Their is no profit in hiding the truth for the convenience and benefit of any political establishment or corporation.

I bow to Fang Shi Min's bravery in only trying to do what's right. Thank you for the link to this post I missed.

Read that 3 times only to see my "their" error after it posted. There, there, there, that's the word.

Thanks.
Natalie: I'll post a link next week.
Wyman: There are so many closed circuit TV cameras in Beijing, that the attack of Shi Min was recorded. The perpetrators were then arrested.
Sophia: So nice to see you here.
