Running Behind

The irises and peonies bloomed a few weeks ago.

See the mosquito on the underside of the petal on the right?
Foxgloves are supposed to self-sow. My fingers are crossed.
The wild geraniums are one of my favorites.

  1. Wow--stunning photos, Ann! That hot-pink peony looks almost like it was painted.

  2. Thanks, Buffy. I have trouble getting the colors true when I photograph pinks and reds. Red poinsettias, for example, are a lost cause.

  5. Vicky and Kristin: Thanks for your kind comments. I guess I should get busy photographing what's blooming now.
